About Curt Sigfstead

Curt Sigfstead has worked in the financial district of San Francisco for over 10 years. Before moving to San Francisco, he worked on Wall Street. He attended Brown University in Providence Rhode Island, where he completed his undergraduate degree in international relations. In addition to his coursework, Mr. Sigfstead engaged in a number of extracurricular activities, including the varsity rugby team and the varsity rowing team.

After graduating from Brown with his Bachelor of Arts, Curt Sigfstead enrolled in the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business. Located in London, Ontario, Canada. The Richard Ivey School of Business is one of Canada's most prestigious business schools. The Ivey full-time MBA was created in 1948 and was Canada's first MBA program as well as the first one offered outside of the United States. Its first class graduated in 1950. The program was modeled on the Harvard Business School <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvard_Business_School> MBA as a two-year program. During his time there, Mr. Sigfstead studied business with a focus in finance; he graduated with his Master of Business Administration in 1997.

Outside of his professional obligations, Curt Sigfstead donates his time and resources to several charitable programs and organizations. Among them is the San Francisco Food Bank where Curt is a member of the Board of Directors. The, mission of the Food bank is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. It's a huge job that's only gotten harder as the community struggles with a prolonged period of economic distress and record numbers of people are pushed to the point of hunger. Thankfully, thousands of caring donors and supporters have rallied around the Food Bank and enabled it to scale up our operations to meet the need. With 120 employees, 25,000 volunteers each year, and 450 partner organizations throughout the community, the Food Bank is vital lifeline for people in need of food assistance.

In his spare time, Curt Sigfstead stays active by playing tennis, hiking, and skiing.
